Volleyball Recap: Noblesville Millers vs. Westfield Shamrocks
Noblesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Westfield Shamrocks, falling 3-0. If the Millers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Shamrocks when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
The final score came out to 25-11, 25-10, 25-21.
Anas Sakkah paced Noblesville's offense, picking up six kills. Sakkah got some help from Sam Wolf and his 13 assists. Sakkah was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.
Among those leading the charge was Kyle Kujawa, who had eight digs and one assist. Michael Mannella also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.
Noblesville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Westfield, their record is now 15-5.
Noblesville has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Southport on the 2nd. As for Westfield, they will take on North Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Shamrocks are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
