Soccer Game Preview: Raleigh Charter vs. East Bladen

The Raleigh Charter Phoenix will square off against the East Bladen Eagles on Thursday.

Raleigh Charter is headed into the contest having not lost since October 8 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Franklin Academy finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw two weeks ago. Raleigh Charter had to tread lightly for part of the match as Kaden Atkinson and Dylan Henson were both handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

Tommy Krapf was the only thing that stood between Raleigh Charter and a shutout considering he scored both of Raleigh Charter's goals, bringing his season total up to three goals.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, East Bladen rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. East Bladen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by three goals or more this season.

East Bladen's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those seven matchups. Raleigh Charter's draw makes their record 10-6-3 this season.
