Squalicum is 8-2 against Mt. Baker since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Squalicum Storm will welcome the Mt. Baker Mountaineers at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Squalicum took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They took down Cedarcrest 46-29.

Meanwhile, Mt. Baker didn't have too much trouble with Blaine on Wednesday as they won 59-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mountaineers.

Mt. Baker has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Squalicum, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-6.

Everything came up roses for Squalicum against Mt. Baker in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 66-33 victory. Does Squalicum have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mt. Baker turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
