Basketball Recap: Adullam House Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Adullam House Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 55-41 to the Victory Christian Academy Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Adullam House Christian Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-35 last Tuesday.

Victory Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Easton Durden led the charge by going 5 of 7 en route to 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Chase Myrick was another key player, going 7 for 16 on his way to 15 points and seven boards.

Adullam House Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Victory Christian Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Chilton Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Victory Christian Academy will head out to face Chilton Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Adullam House Christian Academy will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
