Clayton Jones Game Report: vs Hinkley

Clayton Jones produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Thornton to the win on Thursday. Jones dropped a double-double on 31 points and ten boards, good enough to also set a new career-high in assists in the process. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Thornton's points.

Jones and Thornton will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on The Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Jones hasn't had any trouble running up the score (he's averaged 27 per game this season), but it's looking like he'll have his work cut out for him against the Wildcats' dominant defense.
