Football Game Preview: Redlands Terriers vs. Citrus Valley Blackhawks + How To Watch

Redlands is on a five-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Citrus Valley a four-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Redlands Terriers will host the Citrus Valley Blackhawks at 7:00 p.m. Redlands has given up an average of 37.9 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 69-28, which was the final score in Redlands' tilt against Redlands East Valley on Friday.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Anthony Fraire and Vitela Isaac. Isaac had a great game and rushed for 185 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Meanwhile, Fraire was balling out in the loss, throwing for 275 yards and a pair of TDs, while also rushing for 45 yards.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Citrus Valley). They secured a 31-25 W over Yucaipa on Thursday. The Blackhawks haven't had any issues with the Thunderbirds recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Redlands better keep an eye on Dominic Robles. He was instrumental in Citrus Valley's win, throwing for 309 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75.9% of his passes, and also rushing for 58 yards and one score. Those 309 passing yards gave Robles a new career-high. Jaymie Evans was Robles' top target, picking up 95 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Citrus Valley's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Redlands, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
