Meanwhile, St. James lost 10-2 to Oceanside Collegiate Academy on Thursday. St. James have struggled against Oceanside Collegiate Academy recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

North Myrtle Beach's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four contests. As for St. James, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

North Myrtle Beach beat St. James 2-0 when the teams last played on Wednesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chiefs since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
