Volleyball Recap: Village Christian Victorious

Village Christian lost to Mayfield back in September of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Crusaders came out on top against the Cubs by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crusaders.

Victoria Ann Miller paced Village Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Ann Miller got some help from Allexa Valencia and her 13 assists. Finally, Ann Miller was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Village Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Mayfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-3.

Coincidentally, Village Christian and Mayfield will both be playing Basha the next time they take the court. The Crusaders will head out to face the Bears at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Cubs will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
