Softball Recap: Brownsboro Takes a Loss

Brownsboro's tournament run continued when they took on Kerens on Friday. The Brownsboro Bears fell just short of the Kerens Bobcats by a score of 6-5. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Arabella Lowrance was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1. Summer Nguyen also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Brownsboro now has a losing record of 4-5-2. As for Kerens, their record is now 6-4-1.

Brownsboro didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-0 loss against Canton on the 4th. As for Kerens, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-3 victory against Tyler Legacy on the 1st.
