Soccer Recap: Burnet Gets the Win

Burnet kept a clean sheet against LBJ Austin on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the LBJ Austin Jaguars 1-0. The Bulldogs' winning goal came courtesy of Ricardo Flores.

Burnet was without their leading scorer, Miguel Valdez, in Friday's matchup. With Valdez sitting this one out, Cristopher Lopez Yanez got some extra time on the pitch (80 vs. his season average of 46.7).

Burnet's victory bumped their record up to 8-9-3. As for LBJ Austin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10-4.

As of now, neither Burnet nor LBJ Austin have any future games scheduled.
