Football Recap: Union Spartans vs. Lakewood Leopards
Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 55-0 loss at the hands of the Lakewood Leopards. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, the Spartans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Chris Carr was a one-man wrecking crew for Lakewood as he rushed for 223 yards on only five carries. Carr's longest rush was for an incredible 79 yards.
Union's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lakewood, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
