Hartford faced Vermont Commons in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Hurricanes were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Flying Turtles. Winning may never get old, but the Hurricanes sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

While Hartford won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-18, 25-23.

Hartford's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Vermont Commons, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Hartford will challenge Colchester at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Vermont Commons, they will square off against Missisquoi Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
