West Allegheny had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 4-6 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over the New Castle Hurricanes. The Indians' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

As for New Castle, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10. They have struggled against West Allegheny recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

For New Castle's part, Alex Rodgers made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Dominic Miller was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
