Ryle proved they can win big on Sunday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Conner Cougars 2-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 9-8 win last Monday.

Laci DeLauder spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 11 Ks.

On the hitting side, Ryle's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Leah Broussard, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Ryle's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 17-8-1. As for Conner, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season.

As of now, neither Ryle nor Conner have any future games scheduled.
