Softball Game Preview: Hope Christian Academy Lions vs. First Christian Lions

For the second straight game, Hope Christian Academy will face off against First Christian. We've got a battle between Lions coming up. Hope Christian Academy is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Monday just wasn't the day for Hope Christian Academy's offense. They lost 15-0 to First Christian on Monday. That's two games in a row now that Hope Christian Academy has lost by exactly 15 runs.

For First Christian's part, Victoria Loehr made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Loehr was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Corie Wheeler was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Arabella Blake was another key player, scoring three runs while going 1-for-2.

The victory got First Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Hope Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
