Dos Pueblos came tearing into Tuesday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 21-14 win over the Oxnard Yellowjackets. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 46th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kacey Hurley threw for 236 yards and three touchdowns. Brooklyn Hedricks was her top target, picking up 88 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Although Oxnard took the loss, they still got scores from Mariah Tutt and Vanessa Cano.

Dos Pueblos' victory bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Oxnard, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-5 record.
