Baseball Recap: Browning Comes Up Short

Browning extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 19 on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 0-5 in the process. They lost 18-0 to the Columbia Falls Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly 18 runs.

As for Columbia Falls, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1. The match marked their most dominant victory of the season.

For Columbia Falls' part, Aidyn Williams was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one run. That hit marked the first that Williams has got this season. Treysen Murphy was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Coincidentally, Browning and Columbia Falls will both be playing Lincoln County the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will head out to face the Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Indians will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
