Basketball Recap: Vinal RVT Beats Prince RVT for Their Third Straight Win

Vinal RVT hadn't done well against Prince RVT recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Vinal RVT Hawks were the clear victor by a 69-49 margin over the Prince RVT Falcons. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Prince RVT lost, don't look at Jordan Iverson. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 31 points and ten boards. Iverson's evening made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Justice Black was another key player, putting up two points and eight steals.

The victory (which was Vinal RVT's third in a row) raised their record to 14-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.3 points over those games. As for Prince RVT, their defeat was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-16.
