Zayden Burks Drops League-Best Performance on Friday
Starting off the list is Skyline's Zayden Burks, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Burks rushed for 182 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (103.3).

Quaker Came Up Big in Kettle Run's 44-20 Victory
Kettle Run picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Colton Quaker. Sherando had no answer to Quaker as he rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards Quaker has posted since back in November of 2023.
Quaker must have Sherando's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Quaker rushed for 166 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 42 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Warriors duked it out back in October of 2023.

Zach Roth Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Kettle Run got the W thanks in part to Zach Roth playing the best football he has all season. Roth picked up 169 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 61 yards.
This year, Roth has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 75.1 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 32.14 receiving yards per game.
