Basketball Game Preview: GlenOak Golden Eagles vs. Green Bulldogs

The GlenOak Golden Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Green Bulldogs at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. GlenOak will be strutting in after a victory while Green will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, GlenOak turned things around against Lake on Tuesday. They strolled past the Blue Streaks with points to spare, taking the game 56-40. Given the Golden Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 216th, while the Blue Streaks are ranked 512th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Green played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 70-47 to McKinley. Green has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

GlenOak's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Green, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

Everything went GlenOak's way against Green in their previous meeting back in January, as GlenOak made off with a 54-31 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for GlenOak since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
