Soccer Game Preview: Archbishop Rummel vs. Jesuit

Archbishop Rummel is 1-9 against Jesuit since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Archbishop Rummel Raiders will venture away from home to challenge the Jesuit Blue Jays at 4:15 p.m.

Archbishop Rummel fell victim to Brother Martin and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Crusaders an easy 4-0 victory. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Jesuit faced Holy Cross in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Jesuit walked away with a 3-1 win over Holy Cross. The victory was nothing new for the Blue Jays as they're now sitting on three straight.

Jesuit's win bumped their record up to 10-1-1. As for Archbishop Rummel, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4-2.

Archbishop Rummel came up short against Jesuit when the teams last played back in January, falling 2-0. Can Archbishop Rummel avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
