Football Recap: Central a & M Piles Up the Points Against Fisher

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Teresa, Central A & M was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 42-6 victory over the Fisher Bunnies. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won three games by 22 points or more so far this season.

Emett Stenger threw for 186 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten passes. Ace Spinner was his top target, picking up 127 receiving yards and two TDs. On the ground, Kwame Calhoun rushed for 82 yards and two scores on only eight carries.

When it comes to explaining why Fisher lost, don't look at Jaymz Hammack. Despite the final result, he rushed for 118 yards and one score.

With the win, Central A & M broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5. As for Fisher, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Central A & M will host Heyworth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets' defense has only allowed 7.8 points per game this season, so the Raiders' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Fisher, they will head out on the road to take on Aurora Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
