Basketball Recap: Struthers Comes Up Short

Struthers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 63-47 bruising from the South Range Raiders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-37 back in December of 2024.

Struthers' defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for South Range, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Struthers has already played their next matchup (against Hubbard), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. South Range won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mohawk Area at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
