Basketball Recap: Owasso Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Grayson

Owasso and Grayson (ranked 86th and fourth in the MaxPreps national rankings respectively) squared off in a high-profile game on Monday. The Owasso Rams took a 61-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grayson Rams.

Owasso's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Grayson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Owasso will finish 2024 at home by hosting Wilson-Henryetta at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Owasso is on a ten-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Wilson-Henryetta a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Grayson, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Archer at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
