Basketball Recap: Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial Takes a Loss

Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Akula Elitnaurvik Tundra Foxes, falling 58-35. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tundra Foxes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-18 two weeks ago.

Akula Elitnaurvik can attribute much of their success to Jakayla Kassel, who posted 22 points. Glennis Nicholas was another key player, putting up ten points.

Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Akula Elitnaurvik, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.

Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Akula Elitnaurvik, they have already played their next contest, a 58-48 loss against Z John Williams on the 15th.
