Mifflin County has gone a perfect 10-0 against Altoona recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Mifflin County will face off against Altoona at 4:15 p.m.

Mifflin County lost 10-2 to Central Dauphin on Monday. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Mifflin County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Baker, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Altoona got the win against Juniata on Friday by a conclusive 8-1.

Charli Schneider made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Schneider was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

In other batting news, Altoona got a massive performance out of Kaya Sprankle, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Graycie Price, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

Altoona's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Mifflin County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Everything went Mifflin County's way against Altoona in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Mifflin County made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mifflin County since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
