Even though the Lee Christian Falcons scored an imposing 66 points on Monday, the Cape Fear Christian Academy Eagles still came out on top. Cape Fear Christian Academy walked away with a 73-66 win over Lee Christian. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Cape Fear Christian Academy.
It was another big night for Zeke Brock, who scored 30 points along with nine assists and three steals. The match was his tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jakson Cullen, who scored 20 points.
The win got Cape Fear Christian Academy back to even at 5-5. As for Lee Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cape Fear Christian Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Cresset Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cresset Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 628th, while Cape Fear Christian Academy is ranked 226th). As for Lee Christian, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Crossroads Christian at 8:00 p.m. on December 15th. One thing working in Crossroads Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
