Basketball Recap: Harmony Falls Short of De Kalb in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Harmony can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 37-36 to the De Kalb Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 44-33 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2015.

This is the second loss in a row for Harmony and nudges their season record down to 20-13. As for De Kalb, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Harmony does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for De Kalb, they will square off against Quitman on Thursday.
