Basketball Recap: Blair Comes Up Short

If Blair was feeling good fresh off their 47-26 takedown of Lewis Central last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The contest between the Blair Bears and the Seward Bluejays didn't end well, with the Blair Bears falling 44-25. The Bears have struggled against the Bluejays recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Blair got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Beau Wendt and Taytum Macholan, who each put up six points.

Blair's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Seward, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Coming up, Blair will head out to face off against Gretna East at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gretna East will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Blair surely won't give up without a fight. As for Seward, they will challenge Platteview on Tuesday.
