Volleyball Recap: Escalon's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

Escalon's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Riverbank Bruins 3-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-16, 25-15.

Preston Berhorst paced Escalon's offense, picking up 11 kills. Berhorst got some help from Ben Ferreira and his 24 assists.

Escalon's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Riverbank, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-11.
