Volleyball Recap: Carrollwood Day Takes a Loss

Carrollwood Day lost against Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots lost 3-0 to the Phoenix.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-16.

Carrollwood Day's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carrollwood Day will venture away from home to take on Bayshore Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots are facing the Faith Warriors at the right time seeing as the Faith Warriors are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate, they will square off against Universal Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Phoenix will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: the Falcons will have lost three straight heading into Wednesday's game.
