Vallivue took a 28-point defeat the last time they faced off against Hillcrest, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Falcons slipped by the Knights 65-64 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

The victory got Vallivue back to even at 2-2. As for Hillcrest, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Vallivue won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Boise at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hillcrest, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Skyline at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Knights' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
