Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Huntington North walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Fort Wayne North Side Legends on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Peyton Blair paced Huntington North's offense, picking up 16 kills. Blair got some help from Nathaniel Alwine and his 44 assists. Finally, Gage Byerly kept Huntington North's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Huntington North's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Fort Wayne North Side, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-13.

Huntington North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Norwell on the 15th. Fort Wayne North Side does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
