Bendle waltzed into their match on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Genesee Wolves 11-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-0 on Friday.

Brayden Wollard and Landon Mattis were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Wollard tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Mattis struck out 13 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Wollard has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in eight consecutive appearances. At the plate, Wollard went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases and two runs, while Mattis got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ashton Rodriguez, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with five stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Kaden Mattis, who went 1-for-3 with five stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Bendle pushed their record up to 13-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Genesee, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8-1.
