Basketball Game Preview: Tri-Valley Bears vs. Onteora Eagles

The Tri-Valley Bears will venture away from home to face off against the Onteora Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Tri-Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.

On Tuesday, Tri-Valley beat Eldred 56-49.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Onteora). They claimed a resounding 76-28 win over Dover. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles who have now won four games in a row.

Onteora has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Tri-Valley, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
