Basketball Game Preview: Lone Peak Big Horns vs. Ennis Mustangs

The Lone Peak Big Horns are taking a road trip to face off against the Ennis Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ennis took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lone Peak, who comes in off a win.

If Lone Peak beats Ennis with 69 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Lone Peak breezed by Whitehall to the tune of 69-42 on Saturday. That's two games straight that the Big Horns have won by exactly 27 points.

Meanwhile, Ennis came up short against Jefferson on Thursday and fell 55-46. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The victory made it two in a row for Lone Peak and bumps their season record up to 11-4. As for Ennis, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Lone Peak was able to grind out a solid win over Ennis in their previous matchup back in January, winning 47-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lone Peak since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
