Clayton came out on top against Garner on Tuesday thanks in part to Izzy Tart's efforts. Tart was unstoppable, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.
