The Bad Axe Hatchets waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins but they left with four. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 49-18 victory over Vassar. Bad Axe's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Bad Axe pushed their record up to 4-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Vassar, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bad Axe will stay at home for another game and welcome Unionville-Sebewaing at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Vassar will take on Caro at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Caro presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Vassar in Michigan (Caro is ranked 245th, while Vassar is ranked 665th).
