Basketball Recap: Hillcrest Huskies vs. Summit Academy Bears
There's no place like home for Hillcrest, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 46-30 victory over the Summit Academy Bears on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Huskies as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
Addison Back had an outrageously good game as she went 6 of 8 on her way to 14 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Amelia Lepore, who went 5 for 12 en route to 14 points.

Hillcrest was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.

As for Summit Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-27 defeat against Juan Diego Catholic on the 23rd.
