The Lone Peak Knights will face off against the Cyprus Pirates at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lone Peak's hitters haven't had much luck over their past four games, but Wednesday's matchup will give them a chance to turn things around.

They came out on top against Taylorsville by a score of 8-4 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). Breelyn ( Bree ) Garcia made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over eight innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted over her last ten contests. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Calee Sharp was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Frankee Kelsch was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
