Softball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Lincoln

Lincoln won the last time they faced Brandon Valley and things went their way on Thursday too. The Patriots put the hurt on the Lynx with a sharp 26-19 win. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won three matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Lincoln's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.8 runs over those games. As for Brandon Valley, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Looking ahead, Lincoln will host St. Louis Park at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Brandon Valley, they will venture away from home to square off against Brookings at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Lynx surely won't give up without a fight.
