Recap: Caddo Mills Foxes vs. Farmersville Farmers
If the Caddo Mills Foxes were feeling good off their 53-8 takedown of the Greenville Lions on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Caddo Mills was the victim of a tough 52-32 defeat at the hands of Farmersville on Friday. Caddo Mills was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Farmersville apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Several Foxes players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mckenzie Davis, who scored eight points along with five rebounds. Davis continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Emeril Grant, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Caddo Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Farmersville, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Kaufman the next time they take the court. Caddo Mills will host Kaufman at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Farmersville will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
