Football Recap: River City Raiders vs. Sheldon Huskies
River City lost against Sheldon back in April of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The River City Raiders took a 26-10 bruising from the Sheldon Huskies.
Sheldon's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Da?Marea Harden, who picked up 102 receiving yards and a touchdown. Harden didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made six total tackles (1.0 for loss). Derrius Hatcher also helped with two touchdowns in total.
River City's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sheldon, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
