Basketball Recap: Minneapolis Takes a Loss

After flying high against Republic County two weeks ago, Minneapolis came back down to earth. The Minneapolis Lions took a 60-44 bruising from the Sacred Heart Knights on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Knights: they've now lost seven in a row.

Minneapolis' loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Sacred Heart, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1-1.

Minneapolis will venture away from home to face off against Lyons on Tuesday. As for Sacred Heart, they will welcome Southeast of Saline at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sacred Heart is facing Southeast of Saline at the right time seeing as Southeast of Saline is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
