Ashton-Franklin Center can bid farewell to their 18-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Alden-Hebron Green Giants as they made off with a 14-4 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-2 back in April.

Natalee Vanatta was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Lillian Cooper, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

Ashton-Franklin Center always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .639. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.

Ashton-Franklin Center's victory bumped their record up to 3-27. As for Alden-Hebron, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Coming up, Ashton-Franklin Center will face off against Newark at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for the Raiders: they have been struggling with nine straight losses at home, while the Norsemen have snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
