Reicher Catholic extends home winning streak to seven

The Reicher Catholic Cougars stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 83-61 margin over Round Rock Christian Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

When it comes to explaining why Round Rock Christian Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Wes Owens. Despite the final result, he scored 26 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Owens is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 23 or more in the last three games he's played. Vashon Carter was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.

Reicher Catholic's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.4 points per game. As for Round Rock Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-16.

Reicher Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 92-50 victory vs. Holy Trinity Catholic on the 9th. Round Rock Christian Academy has also already played their next contest, a 58-53 loss against Brazos Christian on the 9th.
