Preview: South Fayette Lions vs. Moon Area Tigers
The South Fayette Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Moon Area Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as South Fayette comes in on four and Moon Area on ten.
Even though Avonworth scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, South Fayette still came out on top. South Fayette took their game against Avonworth 66-56.
Meanwhile, Moon Area scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Tuesday. They blew past Mars 79-58. The score was close at the half, but Moon Area pulled away in the second half with 42 points.
South Fayette has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Moon Area, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
