Volleyball Game Preview: PikeView Panthers vs. Liberty Raiders

PikeView is 1-9 against Liberty since October of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders at 7:00 p.m.

Last Thursday, PikeView came up short against Nicholas County and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-20.

Liberty not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0). They blew past Meadow Bridge 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won seven in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Liberty took every set by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

PikeView's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Liberty, their win bumped their record up to 19-8-3.
