It was a good run, but West Stanly unfortunately witnessed the end of their 12-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Rowan Mustangs. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Colts were not able to get on the board.

West Stanly's defeat dropped their record down to 16-2. As for East Rowan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Stanly will square off against Piedmont at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Rowan, they will face off against North Stanly at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
