Recap: Pescadero Vikings vs. Design Tech Dragons
The Pescadero Vikings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight defeat. Their tough 56-33 defeat to Design Tech might stick with them for a while. Pescadero has not had much luck with Design Tech recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Design Tech was led to victory by Skyler Stewart and Nabhan Singh. Stewart scored 16 points, while Singh scored 17 points. It was the first time this season that Singh scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Luchi Tateishi, who scored six points along with three steals.
Pescadero has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Design Tech, their win bumped their record up to 4-14.
Pescadero will look to defend their home court on Thursday against The Nueva School at 5:30 p.m. Pescadero is coming into the contest with three straight losses at home, meaning The Nueva School will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. Design Tech's road trip will continue as they head out to face Summit Shasta at 6:00 p.m. on February 9th. Summit Shasta will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Design Tech surely won't give up without a fight.
